On October 16-20, 2023 Joanna Ososińska-Ciechomska from the University Center for Foreign Languages visited the Language Center at Carlos III University of Madrid - a YUFE partner university under the KA107 Erasmus+ grant.
As part of the visit, meetings were held with both the administration staff of the Language Center (Alicia Pascual Minguelanez, Nuria Gonzales) and the teaching staff (Marcos Rojas, Kate Walder). The meetings allowed to learn about the functioning of the unit and the working mode of teachers of both English and Spanish languages. Ideas for developing cooperation between teachers and students were established. The prepared presentations were aimed at promoting the Nicolaus Copernicus University, student exchange under Erasmus+, carrying out joint Polish-Spanish student projects as part of classes, exchange of teaching staff and methods of teaching specialized languages.
Joanna Ososińska-Ciechomska also conducted classes with students of Charles IIUniversity in the field of Business English entitled "Sustainability in Business" and "Business Pitch". It gave students and teachers the opportunity to learn about a culturally different work environment.
